Board of Trustees
The Board Members of Family Promise of Juneau are the support beams of our agency. They monitor all operations, plan and organize fundraising events, set the policies for the organization, oversee finances, and jump in whenever we're short on volunteers. Our Board Members are deeply committed to making our program thrive, and they use their diverse backgrounds and incredible leadership skills to help address the needs of homeless families in Juneau.

Tari Stage-Harvey
​Founder of FPJ and pastor at Shepherd of the Valley Church. Tari's husband is a police officer, her kids are brilliant, and her dog Cassiopeia is delightful. She juggles rubber chickens and has four real chickens who have survived multiple bear encounters.
Pat Mclear
​Pat is an active Juneau community member. She can often be found volunteering at Family Promise or in her garden cultivating surprisingly large turnips. She has been with FPJ since the beginning and tells our story with passion and conviction.
Soapy Lingle
Soapy was a long-time realtor in Juneau before retiring. His relationship with the realty community was and continues to be a natural connection for Family Promise. He is also a good friend and a friendly van driver for our guests.

How do you prepare meals, stay dry and warm, keep clothes clean, wash tiny hands and faces, find boots and coats, finish homework by flashlight, and still manage to get to work or school? How do you put one foot in front of the other when you are up against seemingly insurmountable odds without losing hope? If we can help ease the road for some of those along the way, then what a blessing that is."
