How We Help
Family Promise of Juneau (FPJ) supports families who are facing or experiencing homelessness by providing compassionate, comprehensive services at every stage of need. We focus on prevention to keep families from entering crisis, offer shelter and case management when housing is lost, and provide stabilization programs to help families remain secure and independent once they’re housed.
We connect families with community resources and practical tools, and help them strengthen their stability, rebuild their confidence, and move forward with renewed hope. Families may arrive in challenging circumstances, but with guidance and ongoing support, they are able to rebuild their lives and thrive.

Emergency Shelter
Our shelter program is a community network of staff and volunteers who provide shelter, hospitality, and professional case management through a rotational shelter model. This program is available to eligible families while they save money, connect to resources, and search for permanent housing.
